Inspired by a kid selling Cheetos for $0.25, is there a list or reference for the different ways things are sold or value is added? (x-post /r/sales)

Reference thread:

Kid gets caught selling small bags of cheetos for $0.25 each. Reminds me of how things are made in large batches for cheap and then distributed in smaller batches for profit. That’s economy of scales. Also, subletting what Cheetos is already doing with what I assume are already ideal-sized bags for their target market.

It made me wonder… I probably wouldn’t have thought of that myself, but maybe I should have?

Is there a list of concepts, case studies, reference materials that can be skimmed over to get inspiration for this sort of thing?
